At first glance, this home was a project the owner's were not interested in tackling. The kitchen was outdated and the floor plan was a little too open. The space felt empty and overwhelming. However, after careful discussion and a little drawing; it became clear that this was a gem to be polished. All millwork and design was done in house with careful selections that would update the home without making it read too modern. Innovative touches like a built in bookshelf filled with cookbooks help give character to a place that previously housed old bi-fold doors.
