Quarry Road
This renovation was a collaboration with Connecticut architect West Little and clients relocating to Maine. The original kitchen was dark, dated and closed off. There was also a severe lack of space on the first floor for the client to entertain and have family gatherings. Bumping out the back of the home allowed for a larger living room, dining room and kitchen. Our clients wanted a two tone kitchen and so we lightened up red oak as to not clash with the existing floor. The navy blue doors and drawers pair well with the airy blue wall color. The cathedral ceiling in the living room was a mix of pickled pine boards and painted beams.
